If you find yourself wandering through the picturesque streets of Cetara, Italy, make sure to stop at La Cianciola—a seafood restaurant that truly captures the essence of coastal dining. Nestled at Piazza Cantone, 13, this charming eatery invites you to savor the rich flavors of the Mediterranean, where every dish tells the story of the sea.

La Cianciola specializes in traditional Italian seafood fare, and the menu is a delightful showcase of the finest ingredients sourced straight from the waters just beyond your table. Diners rave about the Spaghetti a la colatura di alici, perfectly al dente and imbued with a savory depth that only the highest quality anchovy sauce can provide. Don't miss their Ravioli with tuna stuffing, enveloped in a zesty lemon sauce that dances on your palate, complemented beautifully by the fresh burst of tomatoes and olives.

The ambiance at La Cianciola is wonderfully inviting—a family-friendly atmosphere that embraces all ages. As you sip on their house white wine, your senses will be captivated not only by the delightful aromas wafting through the air but also by the breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The warmth of the staff adds an extra layer of comfort, ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Many customers have shared how the attentive service made them feel at home, a sentiment echoed by Soo Kim: “Yummy pasta and friendly staff. They checked up on me to see if everything was good. Grazie!”

Guests frequently remark on the portions served, with many claiming that the children's chicken meal stands out as one of the best. Lucy Doran's delightful lunch experience captures this perfectly: “Best meal was children's chicken—large portion and excellent homemade slivers of chicken breast.” It's the kind of place where families can relax and indulge in exquisite flavors while creating lasting memories.

For the seafood lover, La Cianciola promises a dining experience akin to an oceanic adventure. Each course, as recounted by Andrea Ficili, is a testament to freshness: “Each course included plates from fresh catch just off the boats a few feet away.” From shrimp to octopus, the menu reflects the bounty of the sea, expertly transformed into dishes that are both comforting and adventurous.

Wrap your meal up with a delightful dessert or another glass of house wine while soaking in the unforgettable views that only Cetara can offer. La Cianciola isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Italian culinary heritage, where every bite is a journey to seaside bliss. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make La Cianciola an essential stop on your culinary exploration of the Amalfi Coast.

Whaat a tasty and fantastic experience! The primi were insanely good. Aall forms oof pasta were cooked to perfection and a great portion. The secondi also very tasty, but it felt less mind blowing than the primi. Try all their alicci recipes, they know what they're doing!

We just love it!!!! We ordered octopus and potatoes wich now I don't remember how to say it in Italian. That was for Antipasti, then Camila ordered Spaghetti a la colatura di alici and I ordered Ravioli with tuna stuffing and a lemon sauce. It had tomatoes and olives as well. House wine and some sparking water. €47.50 wich we didn't find crazy expensive. But let me tell you something that freaking pasta was out of this world. Colatura di alici is just crazy good. We had no idea what it was when we order, and yes is a strong flavor, but is so good. Yes they didn't speak the best English , but we manage. So far loving Cetara.

Last nights dinner her was amazing. Not only did each course go beyond the next, but the flavors were fresh out of the sea. Each course included plates from fresh catch just of the boats a few feet away. The catch ranged from shrimp, prawns, cuddle fish, octopus, and tuna just to name a few. The house white wine complemented the seafood dishes fantastically. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an Italian meal cooked with the ingredients caught just a few feet away. Also the fresh pasta was amazing beyond comparison to just regular pasta. Just amazing and a lovely dinner is all i can say .
